Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actress and producer best famous for the roles she performed on the television series Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist as well as the TV series The Mentalist. She has an BA in African-American Studies from Brown University and an MFA in acting from the Tisch School of the Arts New York University. Aunjanue Lisa Ellis is a producer as well as an American actress active in theatre, television and film. She began her career as an actor in theater but then proceeded to appear in many television shows, both mainstream and independent films. She was known for appearing in the role of Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) as well as on BET's epic The Book of Negroes. The two series garnered reviews, and she also won a lot of prizes. She made her professional debut in the role of Ariel on the stage in The Tempest in 1995. The stage credits she has received include the Broadway performance of the Joe Turner musical Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. The most recognizable part of her career is her roles in the films Men of Honor, The Caveman's Valentine The Express & The Help.
