Antonia Lofaso
The food of chef Antonia offers an opportunity for you to discover the inner deep. Food is what evokes curiosity, which developed as she stepped out of the Long Island suburbs and entered the culturally rich landscape that is Los Angeles. Cavatelli, carnitas, and other dishes can all coexist within a menu. This is a constantly changing sensibility. What remains, however, with her food is an unifying vision of the future while musing on the past. Scopa Italian Roots was opened in 2013 by Lofaso and is sparked by her Italian American roots. The restaurant was greeted with a warm welcome. Lofaso's interpretation of old-school Italian is widely praised as one of the best places to enjoy Italian cuisine within Los Angeles. The food at Lofaso is always authentic delicious, warm and inviting. Lofaso trained under legendary chefs and absorbed their sophisticated techniques however she wasn't afraid in taking on extreme risks in order to follow her intuition. She worked closely with many stars and rose quickly through the ranks of Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Lofaso, Sal Aurora, and Mario Guddemi partnered to open Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City in 2011. In Black Market and the business alliances she created, Lofaso was able to find the perfect location. The collaboration could provide the creative freedom Lofaso desired. Black Market is not constrained to a specific direction, and that is the intention. It could begin with potatoes chips, peppers and toshito. It will be followed by Korean wings, meatballs or lobster rolls. Antonia is the linchpin of this dazzling array. It also told about her experiences when she was a student in her school, the French Culinary Institute. She also raised her daughter Xea and her son Xea. Lofaso believes that all her achievements are the result of the love she has for the kitchen. In this spirit that Lofaso remains on the finger on the pulse.
