Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26th, 1978) was born in Campinas, Sao Paulo. She was in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira was appointed to be a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime in March 2020. The organization is an integral core team for multilateral engagement member and an analyst for the Assassination Witness program. The GI-TOC's research activities concentrates on the assassination of people, disappearances and other forms of violence in the context of illicit economies. Her interests in research also focus on the effects of organized crime on human rights and humanitarian rights, and legislation and policies. Ana Paula holds an LL.M with a laude cumulus in International Law by the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. Fundacao Getulio Vargas has awarded her with an LL.M. cum laude in Public Law. Ana Paula received a magnacum laude bachelor's degree from Federal University of Rio de Janeiro in Legal and Social Sciences. She trained as a lawyer and worked for 4 years at an attorney firm for public law. She has also held assisting positions at non-governmental organisations located at Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
